L-ACOUSTICS are pleased to announce that industry veterans Alain
COURIEUX and Sherif EL BARBARI have been appointed as consultants
for the French manufacturer. L-ACOUSTICS' CEO Christian HEIL
exposes:
"This double appointment directly reflects our current
strategy. We have initiated a process of strengthening L-ACOUSTICS
technical support on three levels. First, we wish to reinforce
technical support to both end users and independent sound designers
(consultants and mixing engineers). Second, increase and fluidify
the technical feedback from the field to R&D to improve
product design. And last but not least, create a group of research,
a sort of "educational think tank", in charge of developing
new approaches to teaching sound design, product implementation
with one ultimate goal: bring to the attendee a solid technical
background and provide him with the essential intellectual tools
which ultimately will serve his design choices. Looking at Alain
and Sherif's credentials, one understands why they fit so well
in this new mission".
